On the road to the future!

In spite of the magnificent Spring-like weather during the 11 days of the Geneva International Motor Show which ended Sunday evening, some 670,000 entries were registered, a figure slightly below that of last year. However, the exhibitors were once again very satisfied with this year’s event, and a number of them have already ordered even larger exhibition space for their stands for the 2015 edition. The special exhibition of the Le Mans 24 Hours Race history and race-winning cars was a great hit with the public, as was the electric vehicle road tests that were available in the exhibition Hall 1.

Discover all the cars that emit less than 95 grams of CO2 per kilometre

The Geneva International Motor Show was the first international motor show to dedicate an exhibition area specifically for vehicles powered by alternatives to petrol and by renewable energies: The Green Pavilion which began in 2009. Today, all the large manufacturers have included these low emission vehicles in their product lines. As a result, beginning last year, these vehicles have re-joined the stands of their respective brands, as they are no longer oddities but have become part of their mainstream offerings. This year the visitors who are interested in these technologies can find a brochure presenting all of the vehicles that emit less than 95 grams of CO2 per kilometre. This document has been produced by the Motor Show and SwissEnergy.
